| This page provides some basic help on how to navigate the
web site and what you can expect on various pages.
There are three navigation aids on the site:
- The main navigation bar at the top of each page
- Context menus on the left side of each page
- Alphabetic Lists
- embedded links within the page you are viewing
The Main navigation Bar

The main navigation bar is at the top of every page on the site, and is the main
navigation aid to the major sections of the site. If you get lost, just go to the
top of the current page and renavigate to the section you were in.
Context Menus
These are menus that sit on the left hand side of each page, and change depending on
which section and subsection you are viewing. For example

Items marked with a have a sub-menu below them and this will expand when
you click it. Items with a is an open sub0-menu and may show additional sub-menus
and/or items to view marked with . For example

Alphabetic Lists

These provide indexing of pages that are classified according to the alphabet.
For example, in the Fuchsia
Compendium each page is navigated to by clicking on an alphabetic character will
display the page showing the content.
Embedded Links
These are normally marked with a coloured text, and change colour when you visit them.
Printer Friendly pages are marked with a and display a
roughly formatted page that is suitabe for printing. It is a sad fact that Web
browsers (and in particular Internet Explorer) cannot print web pages as displayed on
screen. As a result special pages need to be developed to allow you to print pages
in a readable format.
In Closing
If you ever lose your way on the site, just go to the top of the current page and
navigate to the top level of the section you were viewing.
The navigation of the site has been simplified on several levels, and once you get used
to how it works I am sure you will find it intuitive and quick to find the pages you want.
