Lifecycle of Rust

Fuchsia rust is about and is difficult to control. Isolate infected plants, foliage can be removed by hand or the plant cut back to say 4 inches. The new growth will be rust free but needs to be sprayed with a suitable fungicide every seven to ten days to give it protection. The product I like to use is Systhane. In the normal course of looking after your plants try to avoid wetting the foliage. Below is a chart which will help you to understand the life cycle.
